Before joining Vanguard, Rob began his land career with Contract Land Staff where he functioned as a jack of all trades. He ran title, did acquisitions, handled permits, and filmed/edited pre- and post-construction road videos for Telecom, Distribution, and Transmission projects — both Brownfield and Greenfield.

Rob has been a licensed attorney in Ohio for the past 10 years and holds an active Ohio Real Estate Salesperson license as well. He is authorized to practice law in the Southern District of Ohio Federal Court as well as the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Rob graduated from Ohio State’s Moritz College of Law with his Juris Doctor as well as a Masters in Public Policy from the John Glenn School of Public Affairs.

Before law school, Rob attended film school at the University of Southern California where he hosted a movie review show. Every week, Rob and his co-host would head to press junkets or red-carpet premieres.

In addition to his land career, Rob still writes screenplays on the side. His film “Gridlocked” featured Dominic Purcell, Cody Hackman, Stephen Lang, and Danny Glover and was sold to Netflix after production. “Tapped Out” featured Michael Biehn, Cody Hackman, Martin Kove, and Anderson Silva and was purchased by Grindstone.

Rob is an Eagle Scout and a member of the Worthington Presbyterian Church. He previously served as the interim head of the high school youth program.
