Randall “Loui” Davis has over 20 years’ experience in the energy industry, the first 17 years as a landman focused on oil and gas acquisition and mineral title research. He has a broad body of knowledge regarding title with an emphasis on mineral title and leasehold title, although he is knowledgeable in all aspects of title work. Loui has worked all over the United States, much of his oil and gas experience gained working from West Texas to Alabama.

Loui started his journey with Vanguard as an independent landman, accepting a Project Manager position in late 2024. He is excited to join the Vanguard team and looks forward to contributing to the continued growth of the company. The values and culture at Vanguard align perfectly with Loui’s beliefs.

Loui graduated from Mississippi State University in 2003 earning a Bachelor of Science in Biological Engineering with an Environmental Emphasis. He was offered a position as an independent landman in early 2004 and soon realized he had found the career for him.
